Janet Santos
Co-Director
With KOCO since 2002
Miss Janet became Co-Director after Roxann's departure in 2021. Before that, she became the Assistant Director after two years of teaching in Preschool and EHMS TASC. Prior to teaching at KOCO, Janet taught at the YMCA, Independent Day School, Guilford Schools, East Hampton Schools.
Some of her favorite tasks at KOCO are teaching Spanish and American Sign Language. She also loves creating publications and websites. Anything technology or science-based are Miss Janet’s favorites!

Laurie Caron
Co-Director
With KOCO since 2015
A native of East Hampton, Miss Laurie studied Early Education at Marist College in New York. The daughter of a preschool teacher, Laurie has extensive experience working with children, including 6 years in local child care centers. Her daughter Brianna is an honors Nursing student at Sacred Heart, and her son Charlie is a High School student.

Brian Barber
Assistant Director and Off-site Administrator (EHMS TASC)
With KOCO since 2005
A native of East Hampton, Mr. Brian began teaching at KOCO part time during high school. Brian has taught in every KOCO program and knows every single child! Mr. Brian has taken Early Childhood classes at Manchester Community College and has earned his Head Teacher certificate. Brian became Assistant Director in 2021.

Laurie Webster
Opening Administrator
With KOCO since 2008
Miss Laurie has taught in a variety of programs at KOCO, but her main focus has always been preschool. Laurie has her Child Development Associate (CDA). She lives in Portland .

Thomas Santos
Closing Administrator
With KOCO since 2019
Mr. Tom is one of the Toddler teachers at KOCO. He was a KOCO kid from 2003-2008. His mom is Miss Janet, and his sister is Miss Betsy. Tom lives with his dog Robert, and 6 birds, in East Hampton.
