Each month Roxann facilitates the Story Kitchen Enrichment program with all the children, enabling her to combine her love of reading and cooking.  

Roxann Bartone

Director

With KOCO since 2001

 

Roxann Bartone's first position at KOCO was part time at the East Hampton Middle School TASC program. She then assisted the then Director with training and hiring staff. Roxann was promoted to Director in 2004. Prior to working at KOCO, Roxann was Director at the Rocky Hill Stork Club child care center for 10 years. Roxann is also an Education Consultant for an afterschool program in Durham.

Janet Santos

Assistant Director

With KOCO since 2002

 

Miss Janet became the Assistant Director after two years of teaching in Preschool and EHMS TASC. Prior to teaching at KOCO, Janet taught at the YMCA, Independent Day School, Guilford Schools, East Hampton Schools.

 

Some of her favorite tasks at KOCO are teaching Spanish and American Sign Language. She also loves creating publications and websites. Anything technology or science-based are Miss Janet’s favorites!

Laurie Caron

Closing Administrator, Preschool Teacher

With KOCO since 2015

 

A native of East Hampton, Miss Laurie studied Early Education at Marist College in New York. The daughter of a preschool teacher, Laurie has extensive experience working with children, including 6 years in local child care centers. Her daughter Brianna will be entering college next year, and her son Charlie is a Middle School student.

Brian Barber

EHMS TASC Teacher and Off-site Administrator

With KOCO since 2005

 

A native of East Hampton, Mr. Brian began teaching  at KOCO part time during high school. Brian has taught in every KOCO program and knows every single child! Currently, Mr. Brian has taken Early Childhood classes at Manchester Community College and has earned his Head Teacher certificate.
