Miss Janet became Executive Director in 2024 after 21 years at KOCO. Before that, she became the Assistant Director after two years of teaching in Preschool and EHMS TASC. Prior to teaching at KOCO, Janet taught at the YMCA, Independent Day School, Guilford Schools, East Hampton Schools.

Brian Barber
Assistant Director
With KOCO since 2005
A native of East Hampton, Mr. Brian began teaching at KOCO part time during high school. Brian has taught in every KOCO program and knows every single child! Mr. Brian has taken Early Childhood classes at Manchester Community College and has earned his Head Teacher certificate. Brian became Assistant Director in 2021.

Matthew Barber
Opening Administrator
With KOCO since 2019
Mr. Matt was once a KOCO kid. He has taught in all areas at KOCO since he began in 2019 after earning his BA in Mathematics from Southern CT State University.

Thomas Santos
Closing Administrator
With KOCO since 2019
Mr. Tom has been a teacher at KOCO since 2019, and he was also a KOCO kid! Tom has worked with every age group, but spent the most time with toddlers. He is resuming his role as Closing Administrator after a short hiatus.
